Learning about Foods and its nutrition - 2

In our last reading there were scientific evidences we shared for the nutrition received from raw fruits and vegetables. Now we will test the food with our experience.

Each person has a different taste and requirement for his/her body, a standard template will not fit all. That is why, I recommend that we take our dietary requirements individually and understand our body better than a third person.

When you do this, you will realise more than you can imagine the potential of your body and its functionalities. There will be immense pleasure in sharing the time with your body and the life you are living.

For the 3 days cleansing process, we will follow the requirements as follows:

  • Start your day by consuming 500ml of water before you brush your teeth.
  • Use only raw fruits and vegetables ( preferably organic) for your meals. You do not have a limit on the amount that you can consume. Preferably eat till you cannot eat more.
  • Start your day light with water based fruits and green leaves. This can be consumed as a smoothie and easily digested.
  • The day can be of any fruits and vegetables of your choices, remember abundance is the key.
You may choose your fruits and vegetables at your likes and make the most of it. After each meal, please wash your mouth with water and swallow it. Do not spit the water out.

The reason for this is, because there is nutrition in all you eat and if it is in the mouth, why throw it out? You have already bitten into the food and have consumed it. You may as well make the most of the last bites available.

The third day will reveal to you the detoxification process and it's results. 

During this process, some may have a retaliation by the body. Since we have been abusing it for a long time the body may not be able to take the stress of nutrient foods all at once. In these cases, you will need to extend the detoxification process to 7 days. And start with a meal and then gradually shift out of the regular habits and move to a raw diet for the detoxification process.

For the first 3 days, start your morning with a healthy breakfast of water and a good smoothie. On day 4 add the dinner on raw foods and on day 6 include the lunch as well. This slow process will allow the body to stabilize and move from the toxic wastes in the body to a more relaxed detoxification process to help you stabilize your body and create a space for betterment.

This process has benefited many able bodies and also healed patients with various diseases and illnesses. It can help you when you want to help yourself, the choice is always yours

We can only make a wise choice when we learn the options that are available to us.

The different variety of foods that is available at our local grocer is abundant in nutrition. Except the GMO foods that are only a show of nutrition but has no contribution to our health.

In this article, I will try to showcase the different varieties of the food that are available and you will have a glimpse into what can help you achieve your goal of health and lifestyle. Remember, the choice is always yours to make, I will try to facilitate your choice with knowledge and sharing of experiences.

The nutrition available in raw fruits and vegetables is higher than in cooked foods. The reason for this is when we use heat to cook foods, there is a loss of nutrition because of the heat. This results in lower nutrients consumed and we waste the rest as excess from the body.

Experience:
Please keep a fruit/ vegetable in the sun for about an hour in the afternoon. The heat of the sun will make the vegetable or fruit get spoilt really quickly and would not be good to eat. The same result is achieved when we cook our daily foods.

Some cultures cook their meals on heats greater than 40C/104F that makes the meal really tasty and mouth watering but the end nutrition is lost and there is fat created off the excess consumed.

Eating in excess raw fruits and vegetables has no adverse affect on the body. You tend to be more active than ever and the body is vibrant.

The other non-scientific way of finding out what is good for your body is by eating it.

This is the part where your body is a judge to what is good for you and what is not. A normal process to try it takes 21 days before the body starts to react and give you signs of acceptance or rejection.

But before you start the process, you need to detoxify the body and cleanse it from the chemicals and impurities already in your body. This is a 3 day structure which will enable you to follow it.

How to choose food to maintain a healthy diet?

To many people I meet, I am asked how do you eat so much and yet manage never to gain weight.

It is a simple technique to imply in your own life.

The following paragraphs will help you choose the best foods that you can help yourself with and yet be happy with what you eat.

Remember, all diets are unique to each individual and can never be generalised as most diets tend to do. What is good for one, may not be complete for another.

So, keep that in mind and follow what your mind allows you to.

Lets first train our mind to understand what is good and how we can make it better.

We develop cravings when we have kept our body without nutrition for a long period of time. There is then a need to cover up for the loss and we end up eating more than we need.

We often wonder how we could keep eating and have an excuse to say we do not have the time to maintain a balance in our diet. Now I give you an option.

When you start to eat, eat abundantly and do not stop till you burp. Yes, Mommy would have told us that burping is a bad habit but try it out. Eat to your hearts content and then do not let the craving hurt you.

We need to have a lot of fruits and raw vegetables in our diet. With this addition there will be less craving for the oily and junk food.

A good way to judge the food you eat is to see the affects of the food after you have eaten to your burps content. If you feel happy and lively, it means the food is good for you. If you feel lazy and sleepy, then the food is going to build a nest around your waist. This will make you wonder if you have eaten the right food or not. Be the judge for yourself and see how it helps you become a lazy bum or an energetic and lively person who can tackle all the problems in the world with a smile.

Always remember, no one can guide as good as you can guide yourself. So resolve to check on the calories you take and the types of food you take to make the hunger pangs go bang bang.

Am I eating right?

One is always trying to maintain that waist line which is so important. Or is it really important?

We should always follow the need of our stomach when it feels hungry, but what is used to fulfill that hunger is dependant on our head and tongue. We are the victims of our own need to fulfill the requirements of these hunger pangs.

Try keeping yourself hungry for a day and the next day you will be gorging on food as if it was the first day of your meal. The first time you ever ate and the flavours seem so deep and pleasured. You forget the loss you felt for food and then you eat even more.

Do we really have to feel left out with our diet? Can we not eat what we like the most and yet be healthy and fine.

The answer to the question above is a big YES. You can have all the chocolates you desire, have all the deserts and fried foods you like and then also be healthy and cheerful.

Just have them in measured quantities and have a lot of fruits and vegetables.

Understand what is eating and it's need

I have been privileged to be born in a family where food is the solution to everything in life. When we are happy we eat, when we are sad we eat, when we have to party the choice of the food is very important, when we have demise in the family the food to serve is thought about.

Food is the life and the channel of growth and well being in all our lives. There is no being in this planet who can live without the meal on his plate. Sometimes, we can do without a plate and have the food directly in the form of fruits and vegetables, we eat it raw.

The choice of the foods we eat have been a very strong influence into the health and the lifestyle we maintain. You may be surprised that by just changing your diet you can change your destiny and relieve yourself from the illnesses that were part of your life.

The posts you will read will share the insight for you to take into account the beautiful creation of food and the delicacies that you can indulge in without affecting your health in anyways. No need for exercise or heavy weights, simple walks and easy stretches are more than sufficient to maintain a healthy body. Yoga being the best form of keeping the body in sync with the energies of earth.

When you eat your next bite, try to eat your food without biting or crushing the food with your teeth. Use the saliva in your mouth to dissolve the food and digest it. Notice the time that you take to do this and then have the next bite as you normally would. Notice the food and its process to get dissolved.

You will be surprised at the ease in which you can digest your food, even the crunchiest food will be easily digested without the use of your teeth.

Try this exercise with different types of foods, like meat, vegetables, fruits and cereals. You will get to experience your food in a way you would not have experienced before.
