One is always trying to maintain that waist line which is so important. Or is it really important?
We should always follow the need of our stomach when it feels hungry, but what is used to fulfill that hunger is dependant on our head and tongue. We are the victims of our own need to fulfill the requirements of these hunger pangs.
Try keeping yourself hungry for a day and the next day you will be gorging on food as if it was the first day of your meal. The first time you ever ate and the flavours seem so deep and pleasured. You forget the loss you felt for food and then you eat even more.
Do we really have to feel left out with our diet? Can we not eat what we like the most and yet be healthy and fine.
The answer to the question above is a big YES. You can have all the chocolates you desire, have all the deserts and fried foods you like and then also be healthy and cheerful.
Just have them in measured quantities and have a lot of fruits and vegetables.
You may refer the book 80-10-10 by Douglas Graham or watch the video forks over knives by Lee Fulkerson, based on the research done by Dr. Colin Cambell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn. The need to have the knowledge is important to make the right decisions of our diet.
Do yourself the favour and help yourself update yourself with the knowledge and then indulge in the foods that will make your life happy fulfilling and help you do many more things than visiting medical clinics for remedies to your ailments.
